Illinois Fighting Illini Pre-Season Report

Welcome to my dynasty blog of my Illinois Fighting Illini. I will be playing on Heisman difficulty with Recruiting on Heisman. It will also be 6 minute quarters.

Illinois will be looking to finish better then their 2009 3-9 record. After several key parts of the Illinois football team left this past year, this season is not looking to be much of an improvement over last year. The change this season that will have the biggest impact is that senior QB Eddie McGee was converted to a WR. Because he was converted to WR there are no quarterbacks older then a freshman. Nathan Scheelhaase will be the starter to start the season. The Illini will be strongly depending on the running game, because that is where the most experience is on the Illinois offense. Michael LeShoure will be the starting RB that is projected to finish in the top 5 in rushing in the Big 10. Here is the entire depth chart for the Illini:
